Letters are Everywhere!!

I'm sooo EXCITED for my new project. I'm really buzzing for my fashion designs inspired by the ALPHABET!

After receiving the brief I took to the vibrant streets of Glasgow for inspiration. I travelled to the West End and also central Glasgow. I took pictures of objects and sights I thought reflected one of the 26 letters. I think seeing the letters within the surroundings came easy to me and I managed to complete an entire alphabet.

 I'm really happy with my finished alphabet. Letters S , Q, F and A are my favourite because of there interesting shape and the angle I captured them from. In some cases I took more pictures of the same letter so I was able to choose the best. I did make changes to letters I didn't find that exciting and tried to find other solutions. I found finding the right letter for N and G caused a little bit of difficulty. I struggled to get the right sort of look and effect. However using the crop and rotate tool on some pictures helped me choose and decide.

I believe you need to be excited about your research in order to fully enjoy and get enthused about your work. I think I managed to achieve a range of images from city snaps to organic and also natural.  I feel my photographes have great potential for some bold and vibrant fashion designs!
