Wonderful London! :D

This is a close up of a Matthew Williamson creation!! I love the lace flower detail followed by the soft nude feathers. I found this exquisite design while browsing in Harrods!!

These are pictures I took from the fabric shops in Soho. They were so wonderful and so inspirational. They had such a great range of fabrics and beaded trims.

The V&A museum was definitely a highlight of the trip. It had such interesting and inspiring exhibitions. I  loved there  glass twirl centre piece in the main area of the museum. I really liked the aqua blue and jungle greens within the piece.

The theatre and performance section of the V&A really interested me. It was really exciting looking at theatrical and vibrant costumes. I especially like this ballerina style costume due to its layered petal skirt and enchanting bodice.

The Jewellery exhibition at the V&A absolutely blow me away. Some pieces were truly amazing. I managed to take some photographs of my favourite items from the large collection. The tiaras interested me the most along with extravagant style collars.

Alexandra Mc Queen dress. I got very excited at this one. In reality the fabric and quality of print was suburb. The print was vibrant and sharp. What a beautiful site!

The Fashion and Textile Museum also brought great things to my eye. There Prada collection really interested me. The hand painted fairytale dress above was created by Prada who worked with the artist James Jean to complete the design. The dress in real life is so delicate and fine.

I thought this dress was stunning. An original wore by Agynese Deyn. I completed quite a detailed sketch of this one.  I love the drop waist and sequin detail. It was designed by Anne Sui Autumn/Winter 2010.
